What is so different about tyto law?
Tyto Law is a small business, which means to them you are not just a number or a case. They genuinely care and want the best outcome for all of their clients – many of whom become friends!
Solicitors are often perceived as being difficult to contact and sometimes even intimidating so it is our mission to challenge that perception!
Using plain English to explain your legal matters and not confusing people with legal jargon is so important to Oliver and the team. They are down to earth people and enjoy getting to know their clients over a cup of tea (usually Oliver will manage to get something football related into the conversation, if he possibly can!).
Of course, some of the matters that Solicitors handle are not easy or particularly pleasant subjects, but these conversations are made far easier if you are dealing with a person who will listen, understand and make you feel comfortable and supported.
Need an evening or weekend appointment?
No problem! Oliver understands the difficulties many people face in trying to arrange appointments when they have jobs that are Monday to Friday, 9-5pm. He is more than happy to arrange to come and see you at home on a weekday, an evening or at the weekend if this is more convenient for you.
Of course, you are also welcome to visit the team at the Crowle-based office.

Oliver’s reputation means everything to him, he doesn’t simply leave work at 5pm on a Friday and forget about things until Monday – something that is quite easy to do if it isn’t your own business and reputation at stake. If something needs to be done urgently, he will ensure it gets done! Weekends/evenings whatever it takes!

Oliver entered the legal sphere in 2009 and qualified as a solicitor in 2012.
Oliver got married in 2021 to the lovely Jess, and together they live with their 3 cats – Dylan, Georgie and Lexie.
Oliver very much enjoys gardening and you will often see him sharing photos of the amazing produce he has managed to grow in his greenhouse.
A MASSIVE football and sport fan, Oliver is a keen supporter of Sheffield Wednesday (hence the name Tyto Law!). He also runs a triathlon events team along with his Mum Jacqui, and is extremely passionate about getting the local community involved in triathlon.

Tyto Law’s pricing is transparent, and is all displayed on this website. You will not receive an unexpectedly large invoice to pay, or get charged £100 just for Oliver to open an email (which shockingly, some legal firms do!)
After several years working for both high street and Legal 500 law firms he launched Tyto Law in 2018.
He wanted to change the way his clients experienced the legal profession and challenge the idea that it was both inconvenient and expensive for clients to access legal services.
